I'm so glad I gave this book a try. It was full of excitement and adventure. The plot was interesting and I really enjoyed the characters. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
Just needed something to read when I picked this up, but I am totally impressed. The writing keeps you moving and couldn't put it down. The characters are strong and weak each in the own way... Impressed... I wasn't prepared to be but I am

Be bad for Luther...Yes I think I will be!

R.K. Ryals sure knows how to write a character you shouldn't like but can't help but do it. Marcus might have some competition from his brother Luther. Yes they are demons and but GOSH a girl only has so much willpower. I love Luther and all his cocky badness. Luther is bad (hot). Luther is cocky (hot). Luther is confident (hot). You get the point.

This book is a must read. I couldn't put it down once I started. I love the bantering that goes on between Luther and Monroe. R.K. has wrote the perfect match for Luther.
Seriously, she has done it again! R.K. Ryals is my hero! She writes the most amazing books. I have read almost all of them and I can tell you there is not one book that I have not LOVED! While I will always have a special place in my heart for her first series I ever read- The Redemption Series (if you haven't read it, do it!!!!) this book really did it for me as well! I was unsure if I would like Monroe as much on her own instead of just a 'back up character' in a book but I turly did. I really liked monroe a lot! Not to mention that hot demon Luther! While he is sure as hell not Marcus he is a close second. R.K takes you on another amazing adventure where you learn about monroe and her amazing powers and more about her family. I am not good at reviews without spoilers so just read the book, you won't be sorry!! <3
How does she keep doing it?? After reading the Redemption series, I thought to myself, "I really shouldn't love Marcas Craig so much...I mean, he is a demon after all!" But RK Ryals made me love him, and now she has done it again! Enter Luther (Thorne) Craig...brother of Marcas, and halfbreed demon - son of the uber evil demon Lillith and damned Cain. And what really gets me, is that I love them both for different reasons!! Luther is so snarky, and not afraid to be himself. I love his sense of humor and the fact that he collects baseball caps! I still laugh when I think about it! Don't think for a second though, that he isn't sexy as all get out. This book is fantastic! Monroe is her fabulous self, and I loved learning about her world. I can't wait for the next book in this series to delve even deeper! And the way it ended? It is going to be so on!!
I'm a huge fan of RK Ryals. The universe she's created with Redemption (Redemption Series) keeps growing, but so far, Cursed is my favorite edition. While you don't have to read the sister series to enjoy it, I would highly recommend it.

Cursed follows spunky, vintage-loving Monroe as she and her coven try (unsuccessfully) to rid her of a strange connection she's formed with demons. With the help of her cousin NeeCee's inept magic, their powers are accidentally switched, and suddenly the hellhounds searching out Monroe are after both of them. When Lucas (the fallen angel) and Luther (sin in a trench coat) show up to save them, they discover more than they bargained for in the family grimoire. Someone's been hiding something, and its been costing the Ayers witches blood.

Luther Craig.... Bad-ass hybrid mega Demon hottie. Need I say more.. Yeah well I fell in lust with Luther in the first books of RK Ryals. He's just so freaking awesome. Yes I said it. He's who he is. He's not presenting that he's gonna be good. What you see is what you get and boy is he one bad boy I'd love to take.. Ok, so... He's just so yummy I can't stop. Then there's Monroe. She's a good Witch who's trying to find her place in the world. She's not all goody goody and Luther Craig gets under her skin in more ways then one. IM thinking there's something more to their story. I think Monroe just might be the one to tame Luther's wild flame.
