I am an elementary librarian. We got the privilege of having Essea White come to our school and read her book, I Wonder, to the children. They enjoyed it so much, and laughed heartily at the whimsical images the Essea portrays in this sweet book. Essea White is a delightful person and her personality shines through in her story. I highly recommend this book to parents and teachers of young children.
This is as charming as it gets! It is a wonderful book for both children as well as the child at heart. I found myself smiling from the opening page, where the characters' thoughts and illustrations blend beautifully together. I will look forward to Essea White's next book!

This is a well written children's book, with adorable illustrations. I've purchased this book as a gift for friends with small children. I was watching a friend read it to her little boy last week, and was so amused at how interested he seemed listening to the words and mesmerized with the pictures. I highly recommend this book for young readers and infants. It made such a good gift that I'm going to order some more for other friends.
Sweet book full of soft illustrations and silly wonderings. Perfect for toddlers who will find it silly and yet be captured by the possibilities of imagination. Do llamas dance on mountains? Do beavers tell jokes? Once you read this book, you can't help but wonder.
